Hi -
I had my first child 16 months ago and went from a size 8 to a size 12..
I now have lack of motivation do any dieting, I have tried excercising had great fun but gave up..
I plan on going back to Body Combat on Tuesday & completeing this 3 times per week.
Even considering Slimming World but have that thing in my mind saying I know I won't stick to it.
I'm at my witts end and feeling like crying everytime I look in the mirro but it just doesn't seem to be enough to make me budge

You have to make that mental commitment to do it. Sure it takes effort, but it is so worth it.

If you have 75+ lbs to lose 2 lbs/week is ideal
If you have 40-75 lbs to lose 1.5 lbs/week is ideal
If you have 25-40 lbs to lose 1 lbs/week is ideal
If you have 15 -25 lbs to lose 0.5 to 1.0 lbs/week is ideal
If you have less than 15 lbs to lose 0.5 lbs/week is ideal
The key is establishing a deficit. You can do that without any so called diet. Just hit your calorie goals. To me, diet implies temporary. It is much better to get into good habits that will last you a lifetime. Just check out the forums, you'll see this echoed again and again.
