underactive Thyroid And Losing Weight

Ive been told my thyroid is underactive. Anyone else the same and struggle to lose weight?

    If your meds are right you should be able to lose. I have Hashimoto's (and am hypothyroid and on meds), take a look at my ticker, that is since January 8th.

    And BTW, did a Doctor tell you that? If so, you should be on meds.

    Yes I had to get blood tests done and got a letter from them saying about my thyroid. At the minute I am not on medication, they want to repeat the bloods again in 6 weeks. Dont know what happens after that.

    I am not blaming my thyroid for my weight, I just wondered if its harder to lose weight. You have done so well with your weight loss, I hope that I do as well :)
