So I am cooking tofu for dinner and measuring everything so I can log it. The meal I am cooking has four servings.
The package indicates a net weight of 300g. So I thought each serve would have 75g tofu.
When I weighed the tofu it was 460g.
Does the net weight refer to the tofu before the added water (in which case I will allow for 115g for each piece)?
Or, is it labelled wrong?
Any thoughts would be helpful.

The package weight should only be referring to the tofu and not the water. I know that packaged foods can sometimes weigh more than the package states, but holy hell that's an added 50% right there!.0
