Spotted a definite difference today

Yesterday, I had poached egg for breakfast and wasn't hungry until around 12.30.
Today I had ready brek and was starving by 10.30. it always seems to be this way so I'm guessing protein for brekkie is the way forward?

Arthur Agatston, the doctor who wrote up The South Beach Diet, suggests that proteins satisfy for longer periods of time, thus not spurring on hunger, and that carbohydrates (particularly simple carbs) do the opposite. I've seen a notable difference in my level of satiety (and a corresponding drop in hunger pangs) since I've been on South Beach. I realize this only counts as anecdotal evidence, but it's been working for me.0

Everyone is different, but it sounds like your body has spoken.
My body told me the same thing

mine too. I'm not on South Beach, but i have eliminated almost all simple carbs and focus on complex carbs, proteins, fruits and veggies and have noticed a tremendous difference!!!0
