Does anyone know a good recipe for grilling tilapia?

Just had tilapia last night! I like to put a dab of garlic butter and a tbsp of olive oil, and fry it up in the pan and add Cajun spices to it.

For grilling, I would suggest melting the butter and mixing the olive oil together, brush it on, then sprinkle with the spice. The cajun is both spicy and sweet and works great with steamed rice! My girls (usually picky eaters) love it this way.
  • I always batter my tilapia and fry in a little bit of butter and then when done I put a tbsp or so of Creamy fettuccine sauce on it and some grilled shrimp!
  • Tilapia has very little taste on its own so go heavier on the spices than you usually would. It works best as an ingredient inside something else - it's perfect for fish tacos. I had it last night chopped up in a bowl with rice, veggies and salsa.
liberally salt and pepper the fillets, then sautee it fast in a hot, non-stick pan, maybe 3 minutes a side. Like I said, nothing much you can do with it on its own but add it to a dish like I suggested and it is a tasty protein source with precious little fat or calories.
