Good brand of digital scale?

I'm looking to buy a new scale. I bought one a few weeks ago and it was a regular, non-digital scale. My husband and I bought it because we wanted to get one, but didn't have a lot to spare at the time. Now if I weigh myself in different parts of the house, I have a difference of almost twenty pounds! If I stand on one foot, I can lose an extra ten! Either the brand is just terrible or old scales don't do well with people who have to bend over a little to see the numbers. (I admit that I can't see my feet!) Then you have to kinda guess what number you're at. =/
But my parents had a digital scale that gave you a straight reading. So I was wondering if there are any great scales out there that people know of? They also can't have a weight limit of 300lbs, I'm ashamed to say.
Any recommendations?

Hi there - (love your nick, btw!) - I bought the EatSmart Precision Digital Bathroom Scale - via Amazon (about $30?) - it's really awesome. Goes up to 400 lbs.
Have used it now for > 3 months and it's quite good.
Cheers!0 -
Tanita, it will also track your muscle mass. Very good scale0

Just to hijack this thread for a minute, my current digital scales told me this morning that my weight was 171.6. I though this seemed an awfully big jump for one day so tried again - 174.9. Now I KNOW it can't have gone up that much! Tried again and got 172.8. More like what I was expecting.
I do not like having a temptemetal scale. I weighed at the same time, stood in the same place and position on the scales and have no idea what my actual weight might be. I am putting it down to the scale being old and am looking for a new one.
So questions:
1. Are all digital scales that tempremental?
2. Would I be better off looking for traditional, digital, or body analyser scales?
3. What are your recommendations?
If they're all going to do this I'll keep the scales I have but if there's an improvement out there I'll probably go looking for it.
Thank you.0
