I ran a 6:53 minute mile

Completed my first all running 5k yesterday and the first mile I must have gotten caught up with all the race excitement, because I was super fast, (for me) at 6:53. My average pace was 9:45 and I am stoked for my next run in 2 weeks.

I haven't run that fast since high school... (back in the late 80s). That's awesome! Best I can do these days is a 12 minute on the treadmill0
