My abdominal area

I have lost around 38 pound and I really want to do something for my abdominal area. I am looking for something I can do for my abdominal area like on the floor or chair any ideas would be great.

Lots of ab workouts on you tube. You can find single exercises or whole workouts.

Look into Fitness Blender, Lean Machine or Jillian Michael's 30 Day shred, 6 week abs or yoga meltdown. All are good for the core.

I was trying lots of apps on my tablet but they all started getting boring and too long. I wanted something that was the same length each day to do after my run without a voice coach barking orders. Someone here suggested planks. They have worked really well. I do four sets of 30 second side front side planks and mix in some leg lifts & crunches. 16 minutes a day and I feel great.

Lowering your body fat through a calorie deficit is the only thing that will shrink your mid section. Ab workouts just strengthen our ab muscles.

Weight training will help with muscle retention which helps with a flat stomach. So in reality, it's body composition and low body fat that is the key.

Sounds like it's time to start lifting the heavy weights. If you have reached your goal weight that you are comfortable with I'd start a beginners heavy lifting program like Ice Cream Fitness.

Congrats on losing the weight, amazing work. Now it's time to start phase two where you eat a little bit more and put on some muscle mass. You'll love how you look and feel.
