I have been doing some homework on my nutrition. My caloric daily intake averages around 2800-4000 calories per day. I was 232 pounds and now weigh in at 182 pounds. I am 5'9. I have found that consuming 30 grams or more fiber with 70-125 grams of carbohydrates per day will help you LEAN up nicely. Counting calories do not work for me at all. Some days I consume 5000-6000 calories. I am 51 years of age and I am in great shape.

My workouts are ALL compound lift and isolations are NOT in my routine. Power clean and overhead press are my favorite lifts. Pull ups-deadlifts/dips/some bench/push ups/front squats-back squats. overhead swuats-barbell rows-milotary press-planks-hanging legs raises

Cardio 3 times per week, running outside for 4 miles if tired sprint twice a week 6 sprints per workout 15 minute time. all my weight traing goes between 35-45 minutes for days oer week

chest-back-legs and shoulders. NO ARMS-no isolations.....waste of time.
