Doctor's scale vs. Home scale

Every time I go to the doctor's I am pleasantly surprised that his scale weighs me 4 pounds lighter then my home scale. But I am wondering which weight do I log? The one from the doctor's or my home scale one?
I go monthly for weigh ins. Doc told me he will weigh me every week if he has to to get this weight off of me. He said I need to be here for my kids and being at a BMI of almost 40 isn't the way to do it! So hopefully he will be proud of whatever progress I have made

If your doctor is going to weigh you every week. I'd go by his scale.0 -
My doctor's scale weighs me more than the one at home. I always go by the one at home.0

I would pick one of the scales, and solely stick to that. Consistancy is key!0

I find the same thing happening to me. I always go with the Doctors weight. I understand your situation completely. I had a BMI of 53 when I started to lose weight. I still have a long way to go, but every little bit helps. Good luck to you.0

My problem is the opposite, I weigh MORE on the Dr's scale. About 8 pounds more. I don't know if it's actually the scale itself, or if it's because when I weigh at home it's early in the morning before I get dressed or eat/drink anything. I guess I'll know for sure when I go for a fasting blood sample for my cholesterol check. But then, there's always the water too. *sigh* Maybe I need a Dr's scale at home!0

I always schedule my appointment as early in the morning as i can--then i try not to eat anything till after i get weighed---sometimes that doesn't work well! Tomorrow my appt is at 810 but i get up at 5 to get the kids moving for school---we shall see!0
