so i was on another weightloss/medical site awhile ago, and i put in my bmi.
it came back that i am "grossly obese"

really?

like i dont already feel like the love child of jabba the hut and the kool-aid guy, i have to be "grossly obese".

thanks for boosting up my confidence level there, buddy....ill be sure to eat a dozen krispy kremes and not disappoint you by slipping into the "plain old obese" colum for you.

then, if i didnt feel like crap and a half aready, i had to take a mental health profile (for a study i was in). apparently, im depressed, but not depressed enough to continue in the study. i told the woman to call back in 5 mintues, im sure by then id be a prime candiadate for it.

such is my life.

feel free to laugh at it, i do daily!

Haha, go figure... "Yeah, there's something wrong with you but it's not that bad that we actually care, so goodbye." Sounds familiar to me. :grumble:

The category I've heard of that's above "obese" is "morbidly obese"... same idea, and I know it sucks to be "told" that you're not just bad but, like, a whole level above that. Try and use it as motivation, though (which I realize sounds stupid, but give it a shot)... don't take it as an insult, it's just numbers combined a specific way and given a tag. Hang in there, and remember that we're all here on MFP to help you out when you're having a crappy day. :flowerforyou:

Oh SO familiar! Years ago I needed some "professional" help dealing with the death of my son and the breakup with the father. They gave me a little "test" All that came out of that one was......Yes, your nuts but not certifiable! So, Just take into consideration that It's just numbers and is just applied as a generic.

So, ignore that other site. You are a beautiful person no matter what. We are here to listen, help when we can and offer lots of love and support. OK? BIG HUG!
