Very Berry Crumble
Ingredients Amounts
Fresh or frozen berries 2.5 cups
(Blueberries, blackberries, strawberries, raspberries, and/or cherries)
Sugar 1 Tbsp
Whole wheat flour 3 Tbsp
Lemon Juice 1 Tbsp
Rolled Oats ½ cup
Almonds, chopped ¼ cup
Brown Sugar 3 Tbsp
Lemon Zest ½ tsp
Canola Oil 2 Tbsp
Method
1.
Preheat oven to 400°F and place 4 – 6oz ramekins on a baking sheet
2.
In a bowl, combine the fruit, sugar, 1 tbsp flour and lemon juice
3.
Divide the fruit mixture evenly into the 4 ramekins
4.
In a bowl, combine the oats, almonds, brown sugar, 2 tbsp flour, lemon zest and cinnamon
5.
Drizzle the canola oil over the oat mixture and combine
6.
Sprinkle over the fruit mixture and bake 20-25 minutes or until brown & bubbly
7.
Let stand 10 minutes before serving
