North Face Arctic Parkas

Hi There! So I have been wanting a North Face parka for a long, long time. I am down to a size 16/18 but when I go onto the North Face site it tells me my recomended size is a 3XL!!!! I looked at their sizing charts and based on measurements they give, their coats should fit similar to an Old Navy coat and if that's the case then I should only be an XL (I have broad shoulders and am busty)

Does anyone have any experience in buying one of these coats? I am more than willing to make the investment because winters here are cold and damp and I have a 10 - 15 minute walk from my car to work every day, but I just want to make sure it will fit the way I want it to.

Winter coats are not out in stores yet, otherwise I would just go to North by Northwest or something and try on a North Face jacket to see how it fits, but I just thought maybe someone here has experience with these coats vs. another brand and how it will fit.
