Can I eat when I feel full!?

Hi everyone!
I recently got the courage to overcome my diet issues. Gradually I bought my allowed 700 calories (SCARY to think about) up to 900 and now I'm finally at 1365! I'm proud.
I eat lots of proteins and grains, but the problem is that I always feel full. Always. Is it ok if I eat when I'm full? If I don't I know I won't eat enough calories, just saying!
Also, does anyone else have trouble eating back exercise calories? I'm not logging them quite yet because then it makes me look like I'm starving myself again when I look at the bar graph (I'm not!!).
Thanks for any help. (:

Yes, it's okay to eat even when you're not hungry if that's what you need to do to get enough calories into your day. The hormones that control our hunger signals get knocked out of whack sometimes, so they aren't always trustworthy. If no one's suggested it to you yet, you can also add in more calorie dense foods to help you reach your goal. Things like avocado, cheese, nuts, peanut butter, etc.
Great job working to get your calories up, btw. That's a big step forward!0 -
I've always been curious about the taste of avocado, I think I'll give that a try! And thank you very much for the support!!0

Yes, it's fine! It could be that your stomach is small due to eating such small amounts in the past. Not eating enough can mess with your hunger/fullness signals too. Your body will get back to normal at some point and you'll stop feeling full all the time. Good luck, and congratulations on getting into the right track for your health!0
