Black College Grads and Weight Loss Champs Stand UP
This thread is dedicated to those of African descent who have overcome the hard task of graduating college. Also, this thread is to bring recognition to those who lost a bunch of weight and graduated with their degrees at the same time. I am one of those people. 44 lbs lost, Class of 2014, Summa Cum Laude!

Congrats on graduating summa cum laude. Well done on your weight loss progress so far. I also graduated with honors. I started my weight loss journey in May 2014 and have lost over 30 pounds so far. Feel free to add me. I log on everyday and keep my food diary open to friends. I have found tremendous support at MFP. Here's to a bright future. Goodluck!0

This...
I don't think your race has anything to do with your ability to graduate college.
Intelligence level only plays in that arena...0 -

I would venture to say we should congratulate all college graduates regardless of the color of their skin.....But that's only because I don't judge people in that way.0

CONGRATULATIONS ON YOUR SUMMA CUM LAUDE!
and on your weight loss!
Both excellent accomplishments that some find elusive. Heck I didn't get summa cum laude that's a feat!0
