Are they a good investment? Which one do you think is the best? Are there any major pros/cons?

Ooops, I meant HRMs :)

I just got one a few weeks ago and what I love most about it is how much more I push myself!
Before I would just approximate my HR, but now I check my numbers and boy has that been a wake up call...for the good
  • Make sure you get one w/ a chest strap...they're more accurate. I know a lot of people go w/ the really expensive ones, but I just went to Target one day to look. I found a New Balance one, made solely for women, that has a chest strap and it was only $40. It was a great investment! I use it all the time. So don't buy a super expensive one just because of the name...I'm glad I got my NB one.
  • Ive been wanting one SO badly... soon I shall get one bwahahah

Polar Polar Polar....I got the RS300x but they have cheaper ones. The guy at ****s Sporting Goods told me Polar is the best b/c they specialize in them. At first I didnt' listen and bought a Timex b/c it had more features for the price. It was WAY off on calories burned. It had double what I had really burned. I have since used two different types of Polar till I found the one I wanted. Polar FT's are cheaper models if you don't want to spend a lot. Check out Amazon.
