Hi All,
Well today is my 8th day on program, it is also weigh in day this morning when I wake up. I am very nervous about it, although I have done well this week on eating right and adding some exercisie, I'm just scared that I may not have lost anything and I'm really hoping for a good number considering its week one. I'm also excited to weigh in at the same time. I really like this site, a lot of people on here have lost so much weight and its very motivating. My ex-husband came over the other night and I told him that I was dieting and exercisng, he just laughed at me and made fun of me as usual, I'm so going to show him that I mean business this time, what a jerk he is! Just because he has been going to the gym these last 3 1/2 years, losing weight all while we have been separated and has a girlfriend, he thinks he is so cool! We'll see when I get to my goal by next year and I'm looking hot and in the dating game again, I can't wait to see the look n his face when I get skinny again, in due time, in due time. I am highly motivated and want this very bad more so than I have been in a very long time, Thank God for that! Tomorrow I will post my weigh in whether I lost or not just to keep me honest and in the game. Thanks for being here everyone. Night.

Do it for yourself not ex.! That chapter is over, get on with your life. Who really cares what he thinks? Its his loss not yours! I f you look at it objectively your better off without him. Close the door and a window will open!!0

Congratulations on joining MFP. I have found the support wonderful. Remember this is a journey. You didn't gain overnight and you won't lose to maintain overnight either. I was worried about the fact that I wasn't really "exercising" while my grands were visiting but this site has helped me recognize portion sizes and that has helped a lot. Good luck in your journey!0

Thanks everyone, I am doing it for me with the added benefit of showing the ex up later down the road! He actually told me I was a loser so it gives me more determination than ever to stay with this, whatever it takes right?! Yes, it is his loss and thats his problem. I whole heartedly want this for myself, to feel good about myself and be happy with me. It's all about me now, well except for my children, I'm doing it for them as well, so I can be around a long time for them and maybe some grandkids one day. I appreciate the honesty and love reading all your success stories, it's truly motivating...Thank you. I know I have along road ahead but I am willing and wanting to do the work to acheive my goals, I will take it all in smaller chunks as to not get discouraged, no matter what the scale says I am going to continue down a healthy life changing path and keep coming back here for help and support. My dad is going to give me $125 for every 40 pounds I lose, so I must keep going!
New clothes here I come. Thanks again all.

I messed up on my weigh in day, it is suppose to be on Friday but either way I lost 7 pounds! Yah!!!!!! Good first week, I'm happy with that number, if only every week could be 7 pounds! I'll take 3-4 a week would be good. When I was doing weight watchers back 3 years ago, I managed to lose 3-4 pounds every week or more. It seemed so easy back then, can't afford it now though. Good luck all and Thanks for the support.0
