In your experience, do you think it's easier to work out on the floor, or on a rug/carpet?
I currently have a rug but when i'm working out sometimes it starts riding up, i'm just wondering if you guys have a preference?
If it's better, I might just put away my rug, but underneath is hardwood floor.
Thoughs?

When I work out on my hardwood floor, I usually use my yoga mat. It tends to stick and not move around too much.0

I would only use the rug for doing floor work like crunches. For cardio-based workouts, get rid of the rug! It could cause you to trip or could prevent you from pivoting on the balls of your feet causing knee issues too. RUG BE GONE! lol0

I have a rub under me and then I put a small throw over the rug.0

I totally agree. And doing yoga on a rug just had me slipping the whole time.0 -
I prefer yoga mats. Some people purchase foam pads that connect together like a puzzle for their workouts.0
