Is that possible?

I'm almost underweight, but I have fat on my abs area. MFP help me reduce fat upto 8 lbs in 3 months, but I can't do more as I will be underweight.

Now I'm working on strength training to build muscle mass, but for that I need to go over maintenance calories and I'm afraid if I will put on all the fat back which I hardworked for 3 months.

So I need a solution to remove fat on my abs and gain muscles at same time.

Right now I'm doing cardio every morning and strength training in the evening, following a healthy diet keeping the net calories at my maintenance calorie limit. I take .9g of protien for every lbs of my body weight, and rest with healthy carbs and only 10% fat. Will that help me loose fat and gain muscles at same time?

Fat will not go back onto your body unless you grossly overeat and eat the wrong kinds of foods. I would personally start out eating maintenance calories and doing some intense circuit training or weight training to add lean muscle mass to your physique. If after a couple of weeks it doesn't seem to yield the results you would like, add more calories slowly. I would personally add more lean proteins before carbs, though, to help muscle repair after your workouts.

First thing; You will not put on fat if you are working out, doing cardio and strength, and eating healthy.

Second: If is VERY difficult / impossible to build muscle while eating low calories. Muscles need fuel to grow. HOWEVER you can persevere muscle you already have by eating lots of protein and continuing to strength train.

Third: You need to up you're protein big time. When you are trying to cut body fat but keep lean muscle, your body will need that protein so it doesn't go after you're muscle first. Try for 1.5grams per lb , or maybe even a bit more.

PERSONALLY: When I cut, I stick to 50% protein, 25% carbs 25% fat. For a month and half MAX. Than, add in some more complex carbs, and than cut again. But tons of protein is the key.

THE OTHER KEY; you need to lift, and lift as much as you can. If you're muscles are being worked you body will not go after them for fuel!
