30 Day Shred COMPLETE!

Well, I wanted to post a new 30 Day Shred topic....because I finished the program this morning! I didn't see the results that I'd hoped for scale-wise. But here are my "numbers" and what I am viewing as a success:
Weight:
132
129 (3 lbs. change)
Waist:
26.75"
25.5" (1.25" change)
Hips:
33.75"
32.5" (1.25" change)
Thigh:
22"
21" (1" change)
SO, I've cut a total of 3 lbs. and 3 1/2 inches off my body! Woo hoo! I'm planning on taking a break from the program (and using the "No More Trouble Zones" work-out)....and then doing it again in January.

Way to go!! I bought the DVD months ago & im still on level 1 but I also am 213lbs so its harder for me especially with my RA. Ive heard alot of great success stories with 30 Day Shred. Keep up the good work! :bigsmile:0

Great job! I've tried some of the workouts on the DVD and find it easy to follow and fun...and I was sore! Good for you on completing the whole program and congrats on your new, toner self!0

well done on your results - i just finished my 30 day shred this morning too, my results are similar to yours.
I've only done measurements so far as I don't weigh in until fridays.
stats:
weight - few lbs max- update in am
waist - 32.5in to 29.5in
hips - 41.5in to 40in
can see definate improvement in mid section, love handles and saddle bags going!
I'm going to keep doing it possibly daily but do different level each day. I have pre-ordered 6 week 6 pack but its not due to be sent til 27th December! Is the NMTZ worth buying?0 -

Don't worry I have been doing it for 6 weeks now and just moved to level 3. I am also heavier (230) and it is tough. But keep with it--your endurance and strength will come.0 -
I love the NMTZ DVD. Adore it. I do it three times a week, and do something else the other days. It's about an hour total, including warm up and cool down, but can be broken into circuits. It's organized a lot like the 30 Day Shred in that you do each circuit twice. I also have the blast fat/metabolism one. I like that one as well, it is totally cardio and there is a lot of hopping around in it. Target has them both for about $9.00. Sometimes (especially early in the morining) Jillian's constant talking gets on my nerves, but I think that's because I'm not fully awake yet and am crabby still.0

@lindalee - what is this target place that i've heard talked about on MFP? We don't have it in the UK! On amazon the only dvd of Jillians that is not on sale is NMTZ.
I think Jillian is great, if a little annoying but I have to say that I've never got up early every morning (even after a night on the beer) for 30 days to do a dvd workout in my life. I like the fact that the girls and Jillian have different shapes but still look toned and fit.

I just went to Wal-Mart and bought the Burn Fat Boost Metabolism DVD....(Yup! Another Jillian Michaels!) So, that will be my additional cardio to accompany the No More Trouble Zones. I'm hoping and striving to get through this northern NY winter without gaining my usual 10-15 lbs.!0 -
You go! I just got mine yesterday. I got tired of looking at papers with exercises and doing treadmill intervals. I can't wait to start. But it will be hard eating those extra calories. I'm fighting to get to 1200.
