Is it normal to have digestion problems when starting out?

I've been watching what I eat for the last three days, counting everything. For the last three days, I've also had stomach issues that have caused me to head to the bathroom multiple times a day. My diet is pretty high protein, low carb, normal fiber. But I usually have to go three times for every time that I eat and once for every time I drink anything.

Is this normal or am I just sick that just happened to fall on the days where I'm watching what I eat?

    I had similar stomach issues when I changed my diet. I think it's probably just your body adjusting to different foods. Drink more water, try to flush your system. Sounds like your body is cleansing itself. Drink water, flush out and keep it up :))

    Me too! I still go more frequent than before my healthy eating, but not like at the beginning! I think its a good thing because to me it seems my metabolism is working!

    When I first started my experience was very similar to the others. It was awesome! I think I owe it to the fresh fruits, veggies, and bran.
