I am curious about others have had success with staying full longer when you sit down and eat ONLY. I used to be a big eat and read the paper type, but since I have focused strictly on eating at the table, I seem to be satisfied more quickly.
Anybody else try this?

I am reading as I used to slouch in an easy chair and eat my meals but now I sit at the table. Based in this assumption....
I think it takes about 20 minutes for your body to register it's full. That's why we're told to eat slowly. If you rush eating you can consume more than you need because of this delay. I wonder if sitting at the table has maybe slowed down your eating by encouraging better table manners or chat with the people around you? Maybe it's a posture thing?0 -
Hmm, very interesting topic. I don't think I notice a difference.. But now that I think about, I normally always sit down and eat.0
