Well I would love to show you a shirtless before pic but like most overweight people I had the uncanny ability of never being topless around a camera...which is difficult in this age of smart phones, you could say I had developed uncanny fat ninja skills.
I have provided a couple of before snaps anyway, with indicators just in-case you happen to be blind.

Here are my pics. The one on the left is from Dec 2013, and the one on the right is current. The bottom photo my husband snapped while I was getting ready, but I kind of like it because it shows that I'm actually getting a bit of abs, which you can't see in my non-flexed progress pics.

I just realized that I didn't put the supporting information in here when I edited this post, after finally figuring out how to post a damn pic. Lol
The picture on the right is before and the picture on the left is two years later. I was 150 on the right, and 135 on left. I was strictly weight training and doing supporting cardio for fat loss. I am 155 now (current profile pic), and have more blocky abs (more mass), much less shred because I mountain bike 5-6 days a week and cardio is the death of my physique, in general. . My abs look different daily, depending on what I have eaten, and how well hydrated I am. So....I don't suggest basing your overall success on whether you "have abs" or not. They come and go...0 -

That took 3 years and it was about 50 pounds. If I hadn't been lifting I would have had to lose a lot more. It took me a long time because I wasn't in a rush, I was determined to keep it off.0 -
