More interested in inches than weight

So this summer I've lost nearly 10 lbs, which is great for me. I haven't had much access to a gym so most of my workouts are some type of cardio. HOWEVER, when I head back to college I have a WONDERFUL gym that I can go to so I'm more interested in weight training and all that. I am really more interested in losing inches and toning my body now than losing more weight (though both is nice). Especially because I'm finally in a healthy weight zone, weight isn't as important to me as slimming down/toning is. So that being said, any workout suggestions for a newbie to weights? Some good workouts to slim down, especially the legs and arms
