Food for more ENERGY!?!?!?

What I am currently eating is not working, I am so exhausted by 3 pm every day.
My midafternoon snack I try to have slightly before or when the exhaustion hits, but its not doing the trick.
I have actually logged my food completely accurate to what I've been eating today, (no dinner may not be logged yet, because I'm not done work yet) but yea, need some help.
Advice please!

Your fat intake is low.
Try adding avocados, eggs, nuts, seeds, nut butters, etc. to your diet.
Also, try increasing your caloric intake to 1300 or 1400. Your body might be telling you it needs more food.0 -
Your breakfast isn't giving you what you need, don't rely on caffeinated products to kick start your day, you'll just crash. More carbs and protein for breakfast should help you stay full and more energetic longer.0

Agreed. Try a banana and peanut butter for breakfast. Or eggs with toast and a little butter.0 -

I would have to agree with everyone else that's posted. Carbs give quick energy. Fat is digested slower and gives energy just about when carbs are dropping off. Caffeine is a big culprit of mid-day energy drain. Maybe try switching to something with less caffeine like teas.0

Thanks for the advice. I figured my small coffee wouldn't make my caffeine levels out of wack. I also haven't been able to sleep much so that is not fun (brain doesn't shut off at night)
Another quick question: what do you suggest eating the day after you haven't been able to sleep. Same food as always or do you switch things up?0 -

I think you're a little low on carbs but the slow-digestive/complex carbs like sweet potatoes and other root veggies like that. I would swap out some of the bread for something like brown rice or quinoa, especially around lunch time.0

This isn't food, but I take b12 supplements. They help with energy.0
