Slimming Tea

I just picked up my first box of slimming tea. It's called Super Slimming Tea and is supposed to be some kind of Chinese herbal supplement. I was wondering if anyone else has ever tried it and what their experience with it was like.

I have been eating healthy and exercising regularly as well. My goal is to lose about 50 lbs by Christmas and a total of 100 over the next year. I'm currently 5'4 and 248lbs.

My mom made me drink that when I was young. I had really bad diarrhea for three days. I wouldn't recommend it.

It basically makes you go to the bathroom. Its nothing magical that will make you miraculously lose weight.

Stick to using MFP to create a caloric deficit, its all you need. Stay away from gimmicks and fads as much as possible. Good luck achieving your goals.

If all it took was drinking slimming tea, no one on the planet would be overweight - CI<CO is the only magic formula. You can drink all the tea in all the world and all you'll get is diarrhea.

It's a laxative. You wouldn't use laxatives from the chemist to lose weight, so why use the tea?

Poop Tea! My friend drinks it - makes her poop, haven't seen her lose any weight from it. I guess if you really like to poop a lot it is good. But not for weight loss.

The madness with these products will never stop. Don't waste your money. You have to learn to be accountable with meeting a calorie deficiency while meeting your body's required level of nutrients in order to lose weight and be healthy. You also need to make sure you are well hydrated and get adequate amount of sleep/rest.
