Getting back on track

So, I just came back from a short vacation filled with lots of fun and buffet food. After attempting to calculate how many calories I ate during those three days, I worked out that I probably ate around...1700+ calories over my weight loss calorie target each day.

I'm just wondering, should I continue with my exercise and diet routine as normal? Or should I try and cut back a certain amount (300-500) from my current target, as well as not eat exercise cals, until I lose the extra vacation weight? I was more leaning towards the second option, but I'm not sure if it's the healthiest route.

Thank you!

ETA: My current target is 1560.

I'd stick with the normal diet plan even if takes you a little longer to squash them lbs. Otherwise, you'd avoid going on a lot of vacations under the excuse that it would mess up with your diet, which in the long run may just make you quit.

Stick with your plan, allow yourself off days. From my experience the simpler you make things, the better the results you'll get.

Great, thank you for your advice. Found it a bit difficult to stick to plan 2 anyway. =p

Put it behind you and move on.

It's a long journey. There will be ups and downs. You can't get all worked up over it.

You hit a bump, so Yeah, straighten out and keep going.
