Major hunger at night. Anyone else experiencing this as well? I have blown my calorie count at night for the past several weeks. Was doing so well and had lost 50 lbs and now gained about 10 in approximately 8 weeks. Help!

I've got a similar problem. What I do is since I know I'm always hungry at night anyways, I eat really filling lunches and dinners but make sure to leave 400-500 cal for my night time snacking. Just really monitor what types of foods you eat during the day, and then you can eat a lot more at night. Going for foods like fruits and veggies as night time snacks also allows you to feel like you're eating a lot more, but they aren't as high in calories. That's what I do at least0

Are you eating enough during the day? Can you spread your calories to have a bigger night time meal? Or budget for dinner then an after-dinner snack? Are you eating enough protein and fat at dinner? Are you bored with your current food selection? Have you restricted yourself too much? These are questions that I'd be asking myself.
For me what helps is to pre-log my day in the morning, I have dinner planned and a late snack also (usually chocolate or ice-cream) along with a cup of fruit flavoured tea. After my snack, the kitchen gets cleaned and the light goes off - meaning the kitchen is now closed. Silly little tricks like that worked for me :flowerforyou:0
