I just blew a bunch of my FridayNightBeer calories on chinese food. It was so worth it.

Speaking of beer, what are your favorites?

For regular beer I'd pick Sol, Shiner Black, or DogFishHead.
In the light variety? MGD light, Corona Light, Bud Select, or Shiner Spezial Leicht.

ps - in bars I go for Miller lite... I dislike Bud Light with a passion.

Not many beer fans here... I, for one, LOVE beer! Tastes great, not filling, but who cares. A glass of white wine with dinner is nice occasionally, and hard liquor can disappear for all I care, but "Beer is proof that God loves us and wants us to be happy." - Ben Franklin

The lowest cal beers are Michelob Ultra, Natural Light and Miller Lite.
My favorite is Boddingtons from England, and most brown ales (Moose Drool from Montana is one).

We are Mug Club members at the local brewpub, and going there tonight after kickball practice (yes, adults can still appently play kickball and get away with it!) Can't wait!!

I LOVE Guinness Draught. Just beware when at Applebees! They have this weird way of doing it that makes it uber yuck.

And think, just 125 cals for 11.2 floz. Not bad, not bad at all!

trials, scientists have demonstrated that if we drink 1 liter of water each day,
at the end of the year we would have absorbed more than 1 kilo of Escherichia
coli, (E. coli) - bacteria found in feces. In other words, we are consuming 1
kilo of poop.

However, we do NOT run that risk when drinking wine & beer (or
tequila, rum, whiskey or other liquor) because alcohol has to go through a
purification process of boiling, filtering and/or fermenting.

Remember: Water = Poop, Wine = Health

Therefore, it's better to drink wine and talk stupid, than to drink water and be full of *kitten*

OMG! I BEER!

I was a good girl and never drank until college. So where I was in WV, we always drank Natty Lite (Natural Lite) because it was super cheap-o. And if we were feeling fancy, we'd get Bud Lite. My husband says I like my beer to be the color of cat pee. Which is pretty disgusting, but true that I hate dark beer.

Now that I'm a grown up, my favorite beer is served at a franchised microbrew called "The Ram". The beer is called Chicago Blonde. I'm not sure if they serve it in their locations nationwide. We had another microbrew that closed down, but they made a light ale that tasted like cream soda. SOOO YUMMY!

I swear I'm getting old (yes, I know, 26 is NOT old). Drinking beer gives me the worst headache the next day. If I get even a mild buzz from drinking beer I wake up with a terrible headache. :brokenheart:

Mine not so fave friend is rum, specifically rum and coke. I still remember thinking I was superwoman and thinking the jump from the balcony to the helipad two stories down and a room or two over would be fun to try.

I've come to realize that beer is the main reason why I needed to lose weight... Just have to enjoy it less frequently now. Sure wish I could, but I just can't stand light beer! I am a big fan of Summit Extra Pale Ale as it is both yummy and local. Also like Smithwick's Irish Ale and Bell's Two-Hearted Ale. Hmm, guess I'm all about ales. In the summer I love to drink Strongbow cider - dry, not too sweet

You're not going to believe how I learned to like beer, unless you live in the UK. Shandys.... that is half beer and half soda (I use Fresca or another diet clear soda)... very refreshing. Was introduced to them by a bunch of British golfers while living in Spain.
