Blender Suggestions

I love my smoothies, but I like them thick so I often freeze at least some of the fruits/vegetables. My current blender is a magic bullet from when I was in university, I want to purchase a better blender, but was looking for some input.

Anyone using something awesome that's relatively cheap (under $100) and seems to have the ability to crush ice/frozen fruits?

I use the nutribullet - I believe it has a slightly stronger motor than the magic bullet? I use all kinds of frozen things in it.
