What's it your gym bag?

Now that I've joined the ranks and am officially on my way to becoming a gym rat, I'm curious. If you work out at the gym, what are your "gym bag essentials"?

I don't have a gym bag but I do have a little makeup bag that I keep a lock, backup headphones, tampon, and a couple of dollars in. I just have the lock for the winter months when I have to secure my jacket. It's small enough to keep in the console of my truck so I don't have to worry about forgetting it.

Clothes (Sports bra, bright pink sports shirt, jogging bottoms, trainers) and fresh pair of knickers for after shower.
    Razor.
    Ipad for music and stories.
The same pair of sweaty socks. I wear the same pair all week. I think the juice holds my workout life force

Phone/headphones, water, Kindle Fire (which I either read while on the elliptical or note down my lifting results)

Water, towel, lock, phone, earbuds, extra hair ties, makeup remover wipes and hand sanitizer.

I don't like to shower at the gym so I don't need much. If I'm taking a yoga class I'll bring my mat.

    water bottle
ipad (for reading books while on elliptical)
    ipod for tunes
half-round foam roller for my back
    clean clothes
    makeup bag

I have a rental locker at the gym where I store my shampoo, deodorant, etc. so I don't have to bring that stuff back and forth all the time. I wear my workout clothes to the gym. I know it's ridiculous to have both and ipod and ipad, but I listen to music while I'm doing my strength training and my abs/stretches and I can't haul my ipad around with me.

I don't carry a gymbag, it is a hassle carrying it to the gym whilst walking.
