1lb up. I have been doing the Chalean extreme workouts starting this week. I'm trying not to let it bother me because my muscles have been sore everyday this week. I am assuming that the gain is attributed to water retention. I just cant wait to see the scale start to move again.

    If your muscles have been sore, then yes it's most likely water retention. It's only been one week, don't start to get worried already.

    I vary by up to 5 pounds during the course of the day. Don't panic over 1 pound and instead focus on a longer term trend over the course of several weeks
