No weighing in until Dec 31?

Crazy thought friends but I'm thinking of eating 1740 calories per day! This is actually just below what my body would need at my goal weight. The crazy part is I think I want to eat this amount but NOT weigh in until New Year's Eve day!!! I obviously won't gain at this weight, should still lose, and it could put my emphasis back to health instead of pounds!! Anyone else ever do this?
