I've had enough of the injuries and lower back pain and now runners knee! I've had a recurring lower back injury for over a decade and it has stopped me EVERY TIME when I have a fitness goal, it either shows itself as back pain, hip pain or knee pain depending on how my body is compensating. Well it stops now. I still want to run and I definitely want to weight lift but that will have to wait. I'm going to spend the next 6 months or so finally fixing this issue with Pilates and Physio and build a strong core. Then hopefully next year I can come back stronger and start running again properly and lifting weights. I want to get a personal trainer to push me and become fit. I have the drive and determination, I've just always been set back by this injury.
Has anyone ever had a similar problem and if so, how long did it take before you were better?
