I seen that losing a pound to 2 a week is healthy?

What if you lose more than that? I've been eating alot better than I have now and this week I lost 6 pounds total. I started eating a little healthier a few weeks ago from my physical. Now I don't know if that's all water weight or this and that but would that be normal starting out? Not complaining at all the pounds are coming off but just wondering.

And also reading up on a few other topics here that I really shouldn't go by the scale, I should go by how I feel and look in the mirror. Might have to take the scale out of my head for now lol. One thing I do notice so far is that my work pants is getting a little loose.

Thanks for the help everyone

Typically the first week or two you'll see much larger drops in weight (mostly water).

Nothing wrong with losing more than that during the first few weeks since like the poster above stated, it's often mostly excess water being shed. Also, a person who is Super-obese, say, 200 pounds overweight needn't stick to the 2 pounds a week and can still get adequate nutrition while losing more than 2 pounds a week but the weightloss should slow down the closer you get to your goal.
