Hi my name is Gina. I'm not extremely new to mfp I used to be quite frequent a few years ago...
I'm still technically a newbie trying to gather as much information as possible, so nice to meet you.
Is there anyone who in general has to lose a lot of weight (80 pounds +) with some tips, advise and inspiration?

My advice is to do what works for you.
Talk to your doctor and get some guidelines. Then, work at it.
Motivation has to come from within. Nobody else can really motivate you. If you really want to lose it, nothing can stop you. If you don't, nothing can make you.
It's a long, long road. You'll work hard every day, for months, and you'll still be fat. You'll have ups and downs. There will be times when you're doing everything right and the scale isn't budging. Some friend or family member will attempt to discourage you. You have to be very committed.
Every day, you must make the decision about whether this is something you want to continue doing.
Unless you want - really WANT - to go through all the hard work, you will fail.
Only you can decide if you'd rather get thin or stay fat.0
