Hard to lose

So before my holiday I manages to lose quite a bit of weight but after coming back my weight loss was pretty slow, however this weeks weigh in saw me gain like nearly 2lbs, in fairness last Tuesday was a special ocassion so my calories were a bit wild however I stuck to my calories after that and got back on track then weighed myself yesterday morning to find I gained
This has really set me back because in the up coming weeks there's a few more special ocassions that I do have to attend so once again it will be hard to track my calories which I really feel is hindering my weightloss. Has anyone got any advice?

    1. Don't let fluctuations on the scale derail you. Weight loss is not linear. Some weeks you'll lose a lot, some weeks you'll gain, and some weeks you won't lose a thing. Just this morning, my scale was up 2 pounds from yesterday. It happens.
    2. Make smarter decisions when you're at a 'special occasion'. Sure, those little hotdog wrapped thingies look really yummy. But the fruit tray is probably a smarter choice. I know it's hard to track when you're out and about sometimes. When this happens, try to find the healthiest things you can manage, and eat those. Have a wrapped yummy hotdog thingie if you want. But only one - fill up on the healthier stuff.
