Sugar is a sub category of carbs and really doesn't matter as there is no difference in tracking fruit sugar and refined sugar. fiber and/or calcium are far better to track in my opinion (or iron if you have trouble hitting that)
edit-unless, of course, a medical condition says otherwise...0 -
Hello, I did it now for both, food and excercises, but still nothing???0

you're eating a good amount of fruit, fruit has a lot of natural sugar in it
just make sure you brush your teeth and you'll have nothing to worry about0 -
Please, I would like my diary to appear as third green button on my profile.
Tryied all I could, went to settings, picked up: public, and then clikced "save shanges".
But, on other similar situation, I get red letter telling that the changes are successfully saved, and in this case I got nothing...just the page dissapearsis that amypc mistake? Is there a wy to fix it?
many thanks!!!0 -
I would say stick to eating one apple a day and that will cut back the sugar by 18 grams.
Also I noticed you're eating few too calories. It will make losing weight difficult. You need to get your calorie count up.0 -
most of your sugars are from fruit and dairy, those products contain a load of sugars. It depends on you if you prefer eating them or not, but i would try to control your intake a little. I would say eat less fruits. Like the other posters allready said your cals seem very low. Were is your protein? come on your protein intake is only 26 grams? thats not good. Same goes for fat.
You need atleast 0,4 grams of fat per pound of lean body mass
And atleast 0,5-0,8 grams of protein per pound of lean body mass0 -

If you want to eat a lot of fruit (and there is NO problem with that) AND you want to stay GREEN for sugar - then you will need to change your Ratios in your GOAL settings.
So, what are the right ratios? : Well THAT is the Million pound question ... Ask 100 people on MFP and you'll get loads of different agendas and answers :-p0 -
What food do U suggest me to increase proteins but not to increase sugars/fats?
I forgot to put in the soft-boiled egg I ate yesterday late before going to sleep.0 -
Unless you have medical issues ignore sugar. It really has no bearing0

You need to eat more fats to let your hormones function normally. But to answer your question low fat protein sources are: lean meats like chicken, turkey, egg whites, fish and protein poweder.
white fish contains less fat but most fats from fish are highly recommend cause it is a good source of omega or protein powder.
Protein sources with more fat are full eggs most of the dairy products and the meats that aren't lean.0 -
That is exactly the food I ate cca 2 years. After that I made a "just a little, nothing will happen" break with som ecarbos/sugars and after a while it really HAPPENED.0

Hello!
If someones balance is negative, what is the consequence?
Many thanks!
Depends on what you mean by balance, if you mean % ratio wise it doesn't matter. Ratio's are outdated, you need to eat a minimal amound of fats and proteins to keep your body going. If you eat too little fat your hormones will suffer. If you eat to little protein you will lose muscle mass and there for your BMR will go down.
If you mean that your in the red on cals it means something els. I will use meself as an example i am 23 years and weight 160 lbs am 13% bodyfat and workout 6 times a week and live a active life. I calculated my maintances using this information it is between 2600-2800 calories (my BMR = 1850). I want to lose 3% more bodyfat so i have to eat in a deflict, so between 1850-2550 cals and i will lose weight. If not i will gain weight or maintain weight (it is best to look at a weekly deflict, so it doesn't really matter if you go over your cals on some day if your weekly calorie goal is reached).
When i started i choosed to eat 2500 cals a day to lose weight and i did, untill my weight loss slowed down, then i reduced it too 2300 cals a day.
The amount of deflict will determen how fast i will lose the weight. I need to eat atleast 55 grams of fat and 150 grams of protein to keep my body functioning properly, this will cost me around 1300 calories to fill atleast does amount of macro's leaving me with 1000 cals to freely spent on any macro i want, so this can be carbs, fats or proteins.
Thats about it, if you have any more questions feel free to ask0
