How to reduce body fat percentage - I'm so confused

I'm so confused at this point and I need credible input once and for all.
My goal is to lose 10% of my body fat from 30%. I'm almost 30 years old, in good aerobic shape, and am experienced with weight training. But from everything I'm reading online I can't for the life of me figure out if I'm supposed to be conducting high or low intensity cardio workouts and/or weight workouts.

Lift weights/strength train to maintain or improve muscle mass.
Eat at a deficit to lose fat. Eat a moderate (not intense/extreme/terribly high) deficit so that most of what you lose IS fat and not muscle.0
