Motivating myself is tuff. I know I have what it takes its just assume days are harder than others. Any pointers?

Just do it and dont think about it. I need to hit the gym tonight after about 1.5 weeks vacation and dont want to but I know once I walk in it will be fine. Also I will tell myself ill just show up and do this, next thing I feel good and I am doing this and that and more then its time to leave and I still want to do more. Sometimes the hardest part is pulling in the parking lot or putting on my running shoes.0

Someone once told me it wasn't about motivation. If people went to the gym only when they felt like it, no one would ever go.
It's about discipline. It's about saying you are going even if it's the last thing you want to do that day. Ever since I heard this I have had a new mentality. It's not up to how I feel. It's up to me.0
