Too much fiber?

Just wondering if you can go wrong with too much fiber? I usually take in about 10 cups of water a day, so I would think that being over my fiber by 2-5 grams isn't that bad...

That's fine. The numbers on here tend to be a little low anyway.

I hope not, because I'm usually over my fibre by 25g. But that's normal for me, and I'm fine...

Actually a high fiber diet may help you lose weight, because it helps move things threw your colon quicker. Most women need 21 to 25g a day. Being over that is fine too.
  • I'm not a professional, by any means, but I have read a lot about nutrition. If there's anything that you're going to go over on, fiber's probably the best thing for you. Just make sure to drink extra water to help things continue to move through you.

Thanks everyone! I was thinking it wasn't necessarily a bad thing as well, just couldn't see past the red on my diary....oh well! I have perspective now!
