So everyday i eat Oatmeal and 4 eggs for breakfeast.. Chicken, salad and brown rice.. I never use anything like dressings, marinades etc.. Im feeling real tired of eating this.. I miss the feeling of munching my food.. It kinda feels like a chore now.

i think this is actually a good thing, making food fun and variety is what causes us to eat more of it. by having the same thing every day you've taken the fun out and you only eat as much as your body needs to sustain itself. this is a great idea!

Then mix it up! Their are lots of healthy foods out there besides oatmeal, eggs, chicken, and brown rice… oh yeah and salad. Eat what you want! It looks like you have a fairly high calorie goal… why would you be limiting yourself to this? If you've convinced yourself that this is the only things you can eat to lose weight or be healthy (not sure what your goal is)… Then yes, you are being way too hard on yourself!

What? Screw that. My food is fun. I put a party hat on and celebrate the fact my body needs food.

Finding a proper balance of foods to feel satiated and those that help meet goals are great but there's no limitation outside of staying within calorie goal.

Mix it up! Discover new foods that help you meet your goals!

I would've given up a long time ago if I had to eat the same thing every day!

This is what i have been doing.. Looking at food as neutrition and not pleasure

I do add herbs, spices and such.. I use alot of curry powder, and estragon ,rosemary on my chicken.. But its so freaking dry and boring..

But when i have eaten the food and i am done.. I feel so good and fresh.. But when i have to eat again.. I find that i am skipping some meals.. Cuz im not looking foward to meals anymore.. I only eat when i feel hungry.

But are there any clean dressings and such?

Dont want to use alot of stuff with sugars, to much salt. Looking for something natural and clean

Imo, you're over complicating it but hey. If you think you can live your entire life like that. Go for it. **goes back to Candyland**

The only thing I'd be wary of -- if it is a chore to eat this way, it almost guarantees you're setting yourself up to fail in the long term. You want to teach yourself to eat within your calorie/macro goals in a way that you can maintain for the rest of your life, not just while you are trying to lose weight/gain muscle or whatever your goal is. Otherwise when you hit your goal you're likely to go nuts and undo all the good you did. I'd look for a way to fit a few foods here and there that you really enjoy into your routine so you don't go insane. :)

I try to find the yummiest food that fits my macros/micros. If I get bored, I try to find things that still satisfy those macros/micros. There are no "good" or "bad" foods so experiment!
  • Try canned fish (salmon, tuna, sardines, etc), sweet potatoes, cottage cheese, quinoa, kale... All are filling, delicious and good for you. As for dressings, a little olive oil and balsamic vinegar will make any salad delicious!

First of all why are you only eating dry chicken? There are other ways of cooking it and it will turn out juicy. Oven with a little water or slow cooker are my two favorites. There are some other really great proteins out there too fish, beans and even lean pork (gasp). I think you sound hungry and a little grumpy and thats not a way to live. I love food and continue to love food it's not the enemy gluttony and laziness are. Eat in moderation and enjoy what life has had to offer.
