How many calories do you need to stay at your weight?

Hello...I am on the "1200" plan. Realistically I won't be sticking to this plan everyday. Some days I will eat a little less, some days a little more. How do I found out how many calories I can consume without gaining weight? Is there some calculation?

The closest estimate you'll be able to get for something like this online is on a TDEE (total daily energy expenditure) calculator.

    Here's one: http://scoobysworkshop.com/accurate-calorie-calculator/

    Another is here: http://iifym.com/tdee-calculator/

You plug in your stats and how much you regularly exercise and it'll tell you an estimated BMR and an estimated TDEE. The TDEE is the maintenance amount - eat more and gain, eat less and lose.

There are a few BMI calculators, I like the link below. Hope it helps and good luck.

I don't think it matters a whole bunch if you're under or over now and then.

Some days I am hungrier and eat more; other days I have little appetite and eat less.

As long as I eat healthy foods and don't overdo it, I'm good.

You must do what works for you.
