5 things you are thankful for.

When it is a time when you are down a good way to appreciate what you have is to realize what you have that you are thankful for so write down five things you are thankful for. Just for starters and realize you are better than you thought. I like this idea that I read in a magazine one time. I am gonna do it here!!!
1. Waking up everyday
2. My dad and friends and boyfriend they are there for me no matter what
3. My intelligence and personality in general
4. My job that I can have the ability to express myself through food every single day(it is art)
5. My fitness it improved my health ten fold and can only do better

1. My Grandparents for instilling strength and git-r-done in me.
2. My orange tabby for making life funnier.
3. My husband for loving every inch of me, blah day or not
4. This website for giving me the strength to power through weightloss.
5. God for every day the sun rises.
A great day to give yourself energy? Laugh. And smile. do it until you are genuenally smiling and laughing. Then nothing can stop you!0 -
1. Food
2. That exercise burns calories..so we can eat more food.
3. Husband and family
4. Felines, past and present
5. Vacations.0 -
1. My Hunny; what an amazing guy!
2. My Mom; she's always around the corner when I need her.
3. My horse; a dream come true.
4. My life; I wont for nothing, and what I do wont for ain't important!
5. Green trees.

1. Life itself...any day above ground is a good day in my book!
2. My family...yes they are a pain in the a*s, but they are mine!
3. My car
4. Fitness...I can do more now than I ever thought possible, and it can only get better.

2. My family - the one I was born into; and the one I've created
3. Friends - Real & my imaginary internet ones.
4. Providence - the roof over my head, the food in my belly & the clothes on my back

1. God who created everything and still loves and cares for me
2. my family, husband kids grandkids (not my daughter in law:devil: )and my great mom... (sis can go with the daughter in law:laugh: )
3. my friends, the new ones and the ones that have been with me for decades
3. humor, I think it is one of the greates qualities in a human being
4. food , maybe I shouldn't like it that much:grumble:
5. nature, all the different smells and colours and shapes and textures....

Didn't we just do this??? But it's worth doing again, just to keep things in perspective.
1. My Lord
2. My hubby who loves me fat or skinny
3. My children who could care less how much I weigh, but love me no matter what (unless I have to discipline them for something....:indifferent: )
4. Especially after living overseas and missing it dreadfully, my country.
5. My friends... (yes, Shannon, the fake internet ones too :laugh: :laugh: just kidding)0 -
When you stop to think, there really are so, so many things to be grateful for.
* Being able to read these posts, being able to write to respond
* White sheets on the bed and bright orange flowers on the bedside table.
* My laptop, which keeps me in touch with friends, family and, of course, MFP
* For a deeper understanding about the things I can and cannot change in life and love
* For the desire to live an extraordinary life during the tiny little chunk of time I have on this planet. This is truly the fuel that feeds my soul every day.0 -
5. My strength and wisdom
4. My sense of humor
3. My job and all the wonderful people there who love me so much.
2. My ability to trust and turn the other cheek
#1. My beautiful mother who taught me how to be the woman i am today through her own lifestyle, and my outstanding children who give me no problems ever.. who bring nothing but complete joy and contentment into my life.

5. I think the most :flowerforyou: thankful thing I received today was my aunt flo:blushing: ... hmmmm a week and a half late, even though I didn't think that there was any slip ups, only abstinence is fool proof

1. my kids- especially when they do their chores the first time I ask
2. my hubby- without him, it would be 3 kids to 1 adult :noway:
3. My supports- family, friends, mfp
4. my dogs who always want me even if it is a "shrek" day
5. my students even on the roughest day, at least one of them can make me smile
#5 will get bumped on June 4th when I will get to say- the tail lights on the last bus :bigsmile: :bigsmile: :bigsmile: - wait a minute :noway: that means I get stuck at home all day with THEM: Grumpy, Can-I-Drive, and Can-you-take-me-to-the-library-for-the-third-time-this-week:noway:0 -
1. My two wonderful little boys
2. My loving husband
3. My inner strength-now I know I have it because of how far I come on this weight loss journey!
4. My job- I'm an OB nurse working on a 30 day cntract extension (yes, I'm union). The damn hospital is being a%*es and want to cut out all kinds of benefits. I NEED to work to survive. I don't want to strike or try to find a different job!!!!!
5. Life in general- I'm so grateful God put me here to experience this wonderful gift.0
