Creamy Mushroom Sauce
Rollini Pasta
Sesame oil
Sliced Roast Chicken
Mature Cheddar Cheese
Courgettes
Semi Skimmed Milk - Milk
Water
So this is something I made last night that I've split and brought for work lunches. It's not exactly 'low cal' but it's really nice. Take one jar of mushroom sauce (I know, but I'm ill and lazy and not making a roux!) from Sainsbury's (it's really good, I promise, and pour it into a suitable baking dish.
Add c.200g of pasta, then fill half the empty jar with water and pour in, do the same with half a jar of semi-skimmed milk. Stir, and cook for 25 minutes at 180 degrees. After that, stir and grate as much or little mature cheddar cheese over it as you like. Back in the oven for another 20 minutes, or until you think it's ready. Meanwhile, get your oil of choice and chop up and fry a couple of courgettes on the hob.
When all of this is done, take the baking tray out, and tada, delicious pasta bake. The mushroom taste really adds something extra
If you want to add chicken, you can, but don't worry if you prefer it veggie. I just used some sliced chicken I had to hand!
It came to c.1700 calories for the whole tray, and you can divide it up for up to four meals. Or two, if you're greedy...
