Rewind the Future -- Stop the Cycle

This topic has come up many times on MFP. Someone showed me this video today and I wanted to introduce the topic again for those who wanted to discuss it. It's listed as Powerful anti-obesity PSA on another website.

The video touches on the point that obesity doesn't happen overnight. It's a lifetime worth of bad habits, bad choices, and bad nutrition. This video is not to promote any one product but to promote free thought about getting healthy!

Very powerful. Reminds me of my old eating habits.. A can of coca-cola a day, a chocolate bar, a row of cookies, some ice cream. All in one day. Perhaps some fast food if I felt like it too. I was getting fast food twice a day at times.

Also - kid passing off the apple hits home too. I tried a lot of fruits and veggies for the first time this year. My parents were definitely enablers, but I've thankfully influenced them to make some small changes to their diets.

WOW for the first time. It is hard when you are raised to eat certain things. As children we don't really know our choices. I see a lot of parents feeding infants (like 3 months) juice bottles high in sugar. It's not necessary for a child so young.
