I started with the C25K 7 weeks ago, and around 1.5 miles I start to get a side stitch on my right side. I thought I was doing well with my breathing, and I tried to do some research to find out what I can do differently.
Does anyone have any advice for this? Tips/suggestions??

Be mindful of eating/drinking too close to starting your run, and even how you are running.
I'm up to running 20-25miles a week and still get stitches at times. Usually when I'm a bit tired and I pound the pavement more than normal.
Mine are more annoyances than anything else, so I've learnt to just run through them. I find for myself standing up taller and a few deep breaths held for an extra stride or two can help relieve the pain a little.0 -
Stitches are absolutely the weirdest thing about running. Nobody knows what causes them. People have theories, but no proof. Whenever I get one, I stop, breathe deeply for a couple of minutes, sip a bit of water, and back off of my pace. It seems to work, but I have no idea how to PREVENT them.0
