Not losing anything

I've been at a deficit of 3500 calories a week (avg -500 a day but sometimes more sometimes less, ended up at 3500 by end of week) yet no weight loss.

I started my period 2 days ago so it might be water rentention/bloat but the weight hasn't started to come off yet :(. Should I just stay off the scale until it's over? So irritated by this! Being a woman is the best thing and the worst thing all at the same time. :explode:

  • I NEVER weigh myself around that time of the month. Or even 4 days after it's gone. :)

    I am basing my first comment only on your photo....you have nothing to lose, stop trying to lose weight.

    My suggestion is to look carefully at your eating. Are you weighing and measuring every single bite you eat accurately. Beyond that, hormonal factors definitely affect things, take your monthly average rather than a daily weigh in.

    will do. and yes, i am measuring everything i eat. accurately, not sure because i just go by what mfp pal says and sometimes it over/under estimates.
