I feel gross: and that's a good thing

I use to eat a big bag of salted pistachios in one sitting - they were my favorite snack ever! I haven't had any in a dog's age, and decided to buy a small bag and I ate about 2/3 of the bag and I have been feeling gross since. I guess it's a good thing that I can't stomach the food (and/or quantity) I used to eat.... now to get over this bellyache!

You know, eating that burger is not a big deal, unless your calorie limit is 870 calories a day. =)
Seriously, do not get down for a day of temptation. Do not worry if you go over for a day. I mentioned this in another post, and I offer it here for consideration. It is the excess calories eating over the years that cause us to gain weight, so it is the calorie deficit you have over the years that can lose the weight. If you go over a day, compare it with the days prior, and the days after. Chances are you should see a deficit (if you are working at it) for that period of time. If so, you are doing it right.
Another thing I add that happens to be my situation. If I hit around 1500 a day for a week, I will hit a plateau. I gave into temptation one night after plateauing, and I actually lost a couple of pounds the next day. I did not go insane, but I think I was over by 400 for the day. It is almost as if my body felt it was being starved so it began storing fat. I have it a good meal, and started burning. I am not saying to go feasting to lose weight. Just listen to your body, and do not get discouraged. Sometimes what you think is bad is actually good.

I just like the fact that my body is so much better at telling what's not good for me  Or maybe it's just that I am actually listening this time
