Polar FT4/FT7 display

I have an older Polar F4 that is dying on me. I'm looking to replace it and haven't really considered any other brand than Polar but one review for the FT4 on Amazon said that the display print was so small that they couldn't read it and went with a different brand instead.

I have to wear readers and on my current F4 I can see heart rate and time okay without my glasses on but need my glasses for all the other displays. Anyone with "old eyes" have experience with either newer model? Is the display size any different between the FT4 and FT7? I am okay with needing my readers to see the details after I'm done working out but want to be able to see heart rate and time elapsed without my glasses on while I'm working out.

I've looked through the forums and haven't seen this particular issue addressed but if I missed it please excuse the duplication.
